Chase Padgett Is A Funny Music Weirdo

2013’s Pick of the Fringe and the Georgia Straight Critic’s Choice awardee, Chase Padgett, brings to Vancouver his latest show, Funny Music Weirdo, as part of the year-round Fringe offering through Theatre Wire.

Funny Music Weirdo promises an hour of comedy showcasing music, characters, stories, and Chase’s personal take on why Crossfit is cruel and unusual punishment—not to mention a looper machine and effects pedal hooked up to a Wiimote for some special musical effects.

Chase’s first solo show, 6 Guitars, is one of the most successful shows in Fringe Festivals across North America, receiving numerous awards and acclaims in cities its played in.

Funny Music Weirdo plays at Studio 1398 April 20-22 at 8pm

And if you want to see more of Chase, go and attend Fringe Cabaret: After Dark—a late night Fringe Cabaret on April 22, starting at 10:00pm with Fringe favorites.
