Last Sunday’s LSD run turned out to be the 2nd 32K for this training period, leading up to the BMO marathon coming up on May 3rd.
It was the perfect run as we went through the marathon route, minus the UBC trail and the Stanley Park area – as we were able to see what challenges we were up against (note: Kitsilano’s Camosun Street). Our pace leads also gave us tips, which I would have forgotten by now but hopefully would remember when I get there.
From here, training tapers down 23K, then 16K
Total distance: 32 kms.
BMO revealed the 2015 medals and the official marathon route (which would be the route every year).
Registration for the BMO Marathon, Half Marathon, Relay, 8K, and Kids’ run are still open. Register here!
Also, today, we registered for the 2016 Schnieder Electric Paris Marathon for next April! This when we haven’t even done our first official race for this year!
Stop running–you are making me tired!! LOL
