With a forecast for 100% rainfall on that day, the 32K 4-city run from New Westminister to Coquitlam crossing the street to Burnaby, and finally to downtown Vancouver on April 03 2015, turned out to be a pleasant mixture of sunshine and clouds, making for a very comfortable run.
Pace was at 4:30 but it seemed faster we were ahead time-wise by the time we got halfway.
My reward for the run was to get another pair of shoes from Running Room. This time, I got the Brooks Ghost which from what I was told was better than the Glycerin that I was wearing at that ruin and which I also used for the Vegas Rock N Roll marathon, and will use for the May marathon.
Another 32K training run is scheduled for April 12 in preparation for the Bank of Montreal (BMO) Marathon and then it tapers from there.
Total Distance: 32 kms.
