I wasn’t so impressed with the MTV airing of Legally Blonde so it came as a pleasant surprise when I saw the show live at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre March 2011.
The company was a non-equity tour and it was really Broadway calibre it’s really easy to see how the cast can easily transition into Broadway.
Nikki Bohne, who played Elle Woods, gave great life to the role it made me forget about Reese Witherspoon and Laura Bell Bundy. The company’s chemistry really blended well and it showed, as I witnessed how the audience truly appreciated them.
In a nutshell, this was such a fun show to watch and I truly recommend this!
